Sir Gaheris, of Arthurian legend, drawn somewhat but not at all entirely from Gerald Morris' The Savage Damsel and the Dwarf, and subject to change, as always. :D For desperatefans.

Briefly biographical? Gaheris is a cynical, unhappy young man who spent his childhood getting his head screwed by his mother and as such as has grown up with his fair share of issues. He married a woman remarkably like his favourite brother, for reasons best left to him, and after several years of not coping at all killed his mother while she was sleeping with a knight with whom the Orkneys had bloodfeud; and was then exiled by King Arthur for a year or so. Eventually he came back, but some years thereafter was killed by Sir Lancelot along with his brothers Gareth and Agravain, which began the War that Destructed Britain.

He is notoriously unskilled with weaponry, and it's really a wonder he didn't die sooner. He thinks so, too.

DF canon: Gaheris is currently not a little sketchy in the sanity department, due to being messed around with a great deal by various magical influences coupled with his own inherent instability. Heaven only knows where it will end. His memory has definite holes.

TM canon: No memory issues here! He knows quite well about his daughter, and his death, and the deaths of his brothers and parents, though not about the killing of his wife and daughter, although there's a time flux when he's writing, since some of the ficlets are set in times before Bad Stuff happened.
